If there is one coffee growing region that excites both coffee pro’s and home brewers alike, it’s Yirgacheffe. The region is renowned for its heirloom varietals, ideal climate and generations of tradition that compound in phenomenal coffees year after year. This particular coffee is grown by a small group of producers located just outside of the town of Yirgacheffe. Harvested coffee cherries are delivered to the Aricha washing station where they are either washed and pulped or dried naturally. Coffees then travel to get milled, at a mill near the capitol in Addis Ababa before export.
